Neang Menh Rice is one of the popular white rice for Cambodian consumers. Generally, the texture of the rice is hard. It's the best sale product for domestic market, especially those who live in rural area who love eating hard texture rice. Can be grown once a year, it's harvested on December and January with the average yield per hectare is 5 tons. This type of crop need less care from farmers due to its resistance to crop disease which allows the crop to survive in extreme conditions such as temporary drought or flood.  The grain is big, transparent color and the average length is 6.5mm. It can also be the mixture of other types of grain. The average broken is 35%.
