On May 17th-18th, Under SPEC programme, Swisscontact Cambodia lead a delegate of Top 5 Cambodian SMEs' representatives to participate in Netcomm Forum in Milan, Italy, in order to explore the market opportunities and learn about E-commerce in EU. This Forum also invited representatives from Global giant companies like google, Amazon, Paypal, MasterCard, Ebay, Meta, DHL and other giant EU E-commerce platform with the total participants of 21,000 people.
We are also please to have our representative, Mr. TAING SAMBATH, to participate in the Event which allows us to connect to partners in EU, and learn about their E-commerce and related services. Mr. Sambath said: " It's a great opportunity for me to connect to Italian partners and explore the opportunities to do the both sides trade between the 2 countries. In recent years, we have seen a growing demand of rice from Southeast Asia countries, Cambodian rice has also experienced a strong demand after covid-19 and during Ukrainian War as well. With E-commerce platform and partners in EU, it's pretty easy for us to bring our products to sell on the market here with relatively low cost of advertising and marketing. We are looking for the long-term partner, and through this forum, we will definitely find one.
